TEODORO di RAITHU. — A monk in the monastery of that important port which was Raithu, in the Sinai Peninsula, on the Gulf of Suez.
Between 537 and 553 he wrote his Praeparatio for Christological studies. The first part mentions eight heresies, from Mani to Severus of Antioch; the second part contains philosophical definitions for dogmatic use. That the book De sectis, attributed to Leonzio di Bisanzio, has anything to do with T. has not been proved.
