WEINMAN, KARL. - Priest and musicologist, b. at Vohenstrauss (Upper Palatinate) on 22 Dec. 1873, d. at Pielenhofen (Bavaria) on 26 Sept. 1929.
He was appointed director of the Episcopal Library of Regensburg in 1909, and the following year was called to preside over the School of Sacred Music in the same city and to edit its periodical of the same title; likewise, 16 years later, the Cäcilienvereinsorgan first and then the Kirchenjahrbuch.
