CALDERINI, GUGLIELMO. – Architect, born in Perugia on 3 March 1837, died in Rome on 12 February 1916.
Professor of architecture first at the Academy of Fine Arts of Perugia, then in Pisa, and finally in Rome. In 1887 he won the competition for the construction of the Palace of Justice in Rome, regarded as his major work. In Rome he also built the quadriporticus of the Basilica of S. Paolo. In Perugia he erected the church of S. Costanzo, and in Savona the façade of the Cathedral.
