DI BARTOLO, ERASMO. – Musician, born in Gaeta in 1606, died in Naples in 1656, known as Fr. Raimo, of the confraternity of the Trinity in Naples.
He was first a singer in the chapel and chamber of the viceroy, the Duke of Alba, then at the Oratory of the Filippini (1636), of which he became prefect in 1643. He composed Masses, including one for 10 voices, psalms for 8 voices, motets, and other sacred music, preserved in the library of the Oratory itself.
