« IAM MORTE VICTOR OBRUTA ». — Hymn of Lauds for the feast of the Holy Rosary, composed by the Dominican Th. A. Ricchini (cf. A. Walz, Compedium historiae Ordinis Praedicatorum [Roma 1948], p. 585) and already included in the Dominican Breviary in 1834.
In beautiful and elegant form, it recounts the five glorious mysteries: the Resurrection, the Ascension, the Descent of the Holy Spirit, the Assumption of the Most Holy Virgin, and her coronation as queen of heaven and earth.
