It has been thought possible to reconcile the discrepancy by making them martyrs of Gerona, while their relics would then have been transferred to Embrun. Their Acts are "apocryphal and fabulous"; and perhaps Vincenzo is to be identified with the well-known deacon of Saragossa, martyred in 304. Oronzo, bishop, martyr and patron of Lecce, would be distinct from the one commemorated in this group of martyrs.
