THEOLOGISCHE REVUE. — Founded in 1902 by the theologian Francesco Diekamp and published with the collaboration of the professors of the Theological Faculty of the University of Münster in V. and of many other specialists.
It is an informative theological publication, widely circulated in Germany and abroad, which enjoys universal esteem in the scholarly world and remains today the only German Catholic journal devoted to theological information. It deals with new publications relating to theology, taking a critical position with regard to current findings, whether through surveys, general overviews, or individual reviews, always entrusting each subject to leading specialists. Each issue is accompanied by a list of the most important books and articles that have appeared, arranged systematically according to each discipline. Arnold Struker succeeded Diekamp, and the T. R. is now published by the same Theological Faculty of the University, under the direction of two of its members.
