THEOLOGISCHE REVUE. - Founded in 1902 by the theologian Franz Diekamp and published with the collaboration of the professors of the Faculty of Theology of the University of Münster in Westphalia and of many other specialists.
It is an informative theological publication, widely circulated in Germany and abroad, which enjoys universal esteem in the scholarly world and remains today still the only German Catholic journal of theological information. It deals with new editorial releases concerning theology, takes a critical position with respect to present-day results, whether through surveys, general overviews, or particular reviews, always making use for each subject of the foremost specialists. Each issue is accompanied by a list of the most important books and articles that have appeared, arranged in systematic order for each discipline. Diekamp was succeeded by Arnold Struker, and now the T. R. is published by the same Faculty of Theology of the University, under the direction of two of its members.
