ARNOLDO of SAINT PETER AND PAUL. - By birth Tilman Coix, a Flemish Discalced Carmelite, belonged to the Province of Lombardy. He was born at Roermond (Holland) on 6 Dec. 1661 and died at Parma on 5 Feb. 1731. He entered the Order at Milan on 25 Jan. 1681; sub-prior of the hermitage-convent of Marlagne (Belgium) from 1694 to 1697, he published the interesting spiritual conferences of the hermits of Marlagne: *Solitarius loquens*, *Collationes spirituales eremitarum nostrorum Marlanensium* (I, Liège 1698; II, Modena 1722; Italian trans. by D. Eccherio, *Il solitario parlante*, Trento 1726).
