GABRIELLI (Gabriellius), FELICE. — Franciscan Conventual theologian, born at Capradasso in the Ascoli district, died in 1684. On account of his intellectual qualities and his administrative ability he was entrusted with positions of responsibility in the Church and in his Order. Regent of studies at Fano, Fermo, in the “magna domus Venetiarum” and at the Sistine College of St. Bonaventure in Rome (1644), and consultor of the Sacred Congregation of Rites, he was elected Minister General of the Order in 1653, and at the expiration of his six-year term (1659) was appointed Bishop of Nocera dei Pagani.
Among his writings are to be noted: *Theologica disputationes de praedestinatione sanctorum et impiorum reprobatione ad mentem D. Bonaventurae et Sosti* (Rome 1653); *Theologica disputationes de fide, spe et caritate ad mentem D. Bonaventurae et Sosti* (ibid. 1655).
