GABRIELLI (Gabriellius), Felice. - Franciscan Conventual theologian, b. at Capradosso in the Ascoli area, d. 1684. For his qualities of mind and his ability in governance he was called to offices of responsibility in the Church and in the Order. Regent of studies at Fano, Fermo, in the «magna domus Venetianum» and in the Sistine College of St. Bonaventure in Rome (1644), consultor of the Sacred Congregation of Rites, he was elected in 1653 minister general of the Order, and at the expiration of the six-year term (1659) he was elected bishop of Nocera dei Pagani.

Among his writings are remembered: Theologica disputationes de praedestinatione sanctorum et impiorum reprobatione ad mentem D. Bonaventurae et Scoti (Rome 1653); Theologica disputationes de fide, spe et caritate ad mentem D. Bonaventurae et Scoti (ibid. 1653).
