LUNGRO, DIOCESE OF. — For the Italo-Albanians, Benedict XV with the apostolic constitution *Catholici fideles* of 12 February 1919 established in Calabria a diocese with its seat at LUNGRO, which extends over the entire southern part of continental Italy.
It comprises 20 parishes, 37,500 faithful, 32 priests, and 2 congregations of nuns: the Piccole Operaie dei Sacri Cuori and the Basiliane di S. Macrina. The priests are trained at the monastery of Grottaferrata and at the Collegio Greco in Rome.
