1And when the queen of Saba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to try him with hard questions at Jerusalem, with great riches, and camels, which carried spices, and abundance of gold, and precious stones. And when she was come to Solomon, she proposed to him all that was in her heart. E giunta che fu dinanzi a Salomone, espose a lui tutto quello, che aveva in cuore.THE queene of Saba also, when she had heard the fame of Salomon, came to proue him in hard propositions in Ierusalem, with great riches, and camels, which caried spices, and very much gold, and pretious stones. And when she was come to Salomon, she spake to him what thinges soeuer were in her hart. 2And Solomon explained to her all that she proposed: and there was not any thing that he did not make clear unto her.E Salomone le diede risposta sopra tutto quello, che ella gli propose: e nissuna cosa fu, ch'ei non le discifrasse. And Salomon expounded to her al thinges that she propounded: neither was there anie thing, that he made not playne vnto her. 3And when she had seen these things, to wit, the wisdom of Solomon, and the house which he had built,Or quando ella ebbe conosciuta la sapienza di Salomone, e veduta la casa fabbricata da lui,Who after she saw, to witte, the wisedom of Salomon, and the house which he had built,Quæ postquam vidit, sapientiam scilicet Salomonis, et domum quam ædificaverat, 4And the meats of his table, and the dwelling places of his servants, and the attendance of his officers, and their apparel, his cupbearers also, and their garments, and the victims which he offered in the house of the Lord: there was no more spirit in her, she was so astonished.E in qual modo egli era servito alla mensa, e le abitazioni de' suoi cortigiani, e gli ufficj de' ministri, e le loro vestimenta, e i coppieri co' loro abiti, e le vittime, che s'immolavano nella casa del Signore, ella si rimanea senza fiato:moreouer also the meates of his table, and the habitations of his seruantes, and the offices of his ministers, and their garmentes, the cupbearers also, and their garmentes, and the victimes, which he immolated in the house of our Lord: there was no spirit in her anie longer, she was soe astonied.necnon et cibaria mensæ ejus, et habitacula servorum, et officia ministrorum ejus, et vestimenta eorum, pincernas quoque et vestes eorum, et victimas quas immolabat in domo Domini: non erat præ stupore ultra in ea spiritus.

Because God loveth Israel, and will preserve them forever: therefore hath he made thee king over them, to do judgment and justice. Be the Lord thy God blessed, who would ordayne thee ouer his throne, king of the Lord thy God. Because God loueth Israel, and wil preserue it for euer: therfore hath he sette thee king ouer it, to doe iudgementes and iustice.Sit Dominus Deus tuus benedictus, qui voluit te ordinare super thronum suum, regem Domini Dei tui. Quia diligit Deus Israël, et vult servare eum in æternum, idcirco posuit te super eum regem ut facias judicia atque justitiam. 9And she gave to the king a hundred and twenty talents of gold, and spices in great abundance, and most precious stones: there were no such spices as these which the queen of Saba gave to king Solomon.
