TOMMASO di STRASBURGO. - Theologian of the Order of the Hermits of St Augustine, born at Hagenau in Alsatia, died at Vienna in 1357.
He himself declares (In IV Sent., dist. 37-38, q. 1, a. 4) that he was present at the heresy trial held at Padua in 1316 against Peter of Abano, who had recently died. In 1332 he was definitor for the Rhenish province.
