ENRICO dei SANTI NEBEO e ACHILLEO. – Cardinal, of the Moricotti family of Pisa, died in Rome in 1179. Having become a monk at Chiaravalle, he was a disciple of St Bernard, then abbot of the monastery of SS. Vincenzo and Anastasio alle Tre Fontane (Rome), and in 1150 was made a cardinal by Eugene III. By Adrian IV he was entrusted with various diplomatic missions to Guglielmo di Sicilia and the emperor Federico I. In 1150 he supported the election of Alessandro III against Vittore IV and was subsequently sent as legate to France and England, where he advised s. Tommaso di Canterbury to accept that episcopal see.
