Prohibited Societies (Secret Societies)

PROHIBITED SOCIETIES (SECTS). — By their very nature, prohibited societies are those that pursue an illicit purpose, or that, while pursuing a good end, intend to achieve it by dishonest means. They therefore remain illicit whatever their nature: religious, political, humanitarian, scientific-popularization, commercial, etc.
