1And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:E il Signore parlò a Mosè, e ad Aronne, e disse:AND our Lord spake to Moyses, and Aaron, saying:Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen, et Aaron, dicens: 2The man in whose skin or flesh shall arise a different colour or a blister, or as it were something shining, that is the stroke of the leprosy, shall be brought to Aaron the priest, or any one of his sons.L'uomo che avrà sulla sua pelle, e sulla carne varietà di colori, o una pustola, o qualche cosa di lucido, che sia indizio di lebbra, sarà condotto ad Aronne sacerdote, o ad uno de' suoi figliuoli. The man, in whose skinne and flesh shal arise a diuers colour or a blister, or any thing as it were shyning, that is to say the plague of the leprosie, shal be brought to Aaron the priest, or any one of his sonnes. 3And if he see the leprosy in his skin, and the hair turned white and the place where the leprosy appears lower than the skin and the rest of the flesh: it is the stroke of the leprosy, and upon his judgment he shall be separated. Who seing the leprosie in his skinne, & the heare turned into a white colour, and the forme it self of the leprosie lower then the skinne, and the other flesh: it is the plague of the leprosie, and at his arbitrement he shal be seperated. 4But if there be a shining whiteness in the skin, and not lower than the other flesh, and the hair be of the former colour, the priest shall shut him up seven days.Se poi vi sarà sulla cute un candor luccicante, e non più affondato del resto della carne, e i peli son del color primiero, il sacerdote lo rinchiuderà per sette giorni:But if there be a shining whitenesse in the skinne, and not lower then the other flesh, and the heare of the old colour, the priest shal shut him vp seuen daies,Sin autem lucens candor fuerit in cute, nec humilior carne reliqua, et pili coloris pristini, recludet eum sacerdos septem diebus: 5And the seventh day he shall look on him: and if the leprosy be grown no farther, and hath not spread itself in the skin, he shall shut him up again other seven days.E il settimo giorno lo esaminerà; e se la lebbra non si sarà dilatata, e non sarà penetrata più oltre dentro la cute, lo rinchiuderà nuovamente per sette altri giorni.and the seuenth day he shal vew him: and if the leprosie be growne no farder, nor hath passed the former limites in the skinne, againe he shal shut him vp other seuen daies.et considerabit die septimo: et si quidem lepra ultra non creverit, nec transierit in cute priores terminos, rursum recludet eum septem diebus aliis.

6And on the seventh day, he shall look on him. If the leprosy be somewhat obscure, and not spread in the skin, he shall declare him clean, because it is but a scab: and the man shall wash his clothes, and shall be clean.E il settimo giorno lo visiterà; e se la lebbra sarà più fosca, e non si sarà dilatata sulla cute, lo monderà perocché questa è scabbia: e quegli laverà le sue vesti, e sarà mondo. And the seuenth day he shal behold: if the leprosie be somewhat obscure, and not growne in the skinne, he shal cleanse him, because it is a scabbe: and the man shal wash his clothes, and shal be cleane. 7But, if the leprosy grow again, after he was seen by the priest and restored to cleanness, he shall be brought to him:Che se dopo che ei fu visitato dal sacerdote, e renduto mondo, la lebbra va ancora crescendo, ei sarà ricondotto a lui,And if the leprosie grow againe, after that he was sene of the priest and restored to cleannesse; he shal he brought vnto him,Quod si postquam a sacerdote visus est, et redditus munditiæ, iterum lepra creverit: adducetur ad eum, 8And shall be condemned of uncleanness.E sarà condannato d'immondezza.and shal be condemned of vncleannesse.et immunditiæ condemnabitur. 9If the stroke of the leprosy be in a man, he shall be brought to the priest:Un uomo, che ha il male della lebbra, sarà menato al sacerdote,If the plague of the leprosie be in a man, he shal be brought to the priest,Plaga lepræ si fuerit in homine, adducetur ad sacerdotem, 10And he shall view him. And when there shall be a white colour in the skin, and it shall have changed the look of the hair, and the living flesh itself shall appear:E questo lo visiterà. E se la cute sarà di color bianco e il colore de' peli sarà cangiato, e apparisca anche la viva carne, and he shal view him. And when there is a white colour in the skinne, and hath changed the looke of the heare, and the flesh also it selfe appeare quicke:et videbit eum. Cumque color albus in cute fuerit, et capillorum mutaverit aspectum, ipsa quoque caro viva apparuerit: 11It shall be judged an inveterate leprosy, and grown into the skin. The priest therefore shall declare him unclean: and shall not shut him up, because he is evidently unclean. Il sacerdote adunque lo dichiarerà impuro, e non lo rinchiuderà; perché evidente è la sua immondezza.it shal be iudged a verie old leprosie, and growne into the skinne. The priest therfore shal contaminate him, and shal not shut him vp, because he is vncleane euidently.lepra vetustissima judicabitur, atque inolita cuti.

12But if the leprosy spring out running about in the skin, and cover all the skin from the head to the feet, whatsoever falleth under the sight of the eyes:Che se la lebbra fiorisce serpeggiando sulla cute, e tutta la cuopre dal capo insino a' piedi, quanto cade sotto degli occhi,But if the leprosie spring forth running about in the skinne, and couer al the flesh from the head to the feete, whatsoeuer falleth vnder the sight of the eies,Sin autem effloruerit discurrens lepra in cute, et operuerit omnem cutem a capite usque ad pedes, quidquid sub aspectum oculorum cadit, 13The priest shall view him, and shall judge that the leprosy which he has is very clean: because it is all turned into whiteness, and therefore the man shall be clean.Il sacerdote lo esaminerà, e pronunzierà, che egli ha una lebbra mondissima; perché è tutta bianca; e perciò colui sarà mondo.the priest shal vew him, and shal iudge that he is taken with a most cleane leprosie: for that it is al turned into whitnesse, and therfore the man shal be cleane.considerabit eum sacerdos, et teneri lepra mundissima judicabit: eo quod omnis in candorem versa sit, et idcirco homo mundus erit. 14But when the live flesh shall appear in him:Ma quando si vedrà in lui la viva carne,But when there shal appeare in him quicke flesh,Quando vero caro vivens in eo apparuerit, 15Then by the judgment of the priest he shall be defiled, and shall be reckoned among the unclean. For live flesh, if it be spotted with leprosy, is unclean.Allora sarà egli giudicato impuro dal sacerdote, e contato tra gl'immondi: perocché la viva carne macchiata di lebbra è immonda.then by the iudgement of the priest he shal be polluted, and shal be reputed among the vncleane. for quick flesh if it be spotted with leprosie, is vncleane.tunc sacerdotis judicio polluetur, et inter immundos reputabitur: caro enim viva, si lepra aspergitur, immunda est. 16And if again it be turned into whiteness, and cover all the man:Ma se la pelle riprende il bianco, e questo per tutto l'uomo si estende,And if againe it be turned into whitenesse, and couer al the man,Quod si rursum versa fuerit in alborem, et totum hominem operuerit, 17The priest shall view him, and shall judge him to be clean.Il sacerdote lo esaminerà, e dichiarerà, ch'egli è mondo.the priest shal vew him, and shal iudge him to be cleane.considerabit eum sacerdos, et mundum esse decernet. 18When also there has been an ulcer in the flesh and the skin, and it has been healed:Ma se nella carne, e nella cute è spuntata un'ulcera, ed è guarita,And the flesh and the skinne wherin a boile is risen, and healed,Caro autem et cutis in qua ulcus natum est, et sanatum,

19And in the place of the ulcer, there appeareth a white scar, or somewhat red, the man shall be brought to the priest.E se nel sito dell'ulcera viene a coprire una cicatrice bianca, e che tira sul rosso, questi sarà menato al sacerdote:and in the place of the boile, there appeare a white scarre, or somewhat redde, the man shal be brought to the priest:et in loco ulceris cicatrix alba apparuerit, sive subrufa, adducetur homo ad sacerdotem. 20And when he shall see the place of the leprosy lower than the other flesh, and the hair turned white: he shall declare him unclean, for the plague of leprosy is broken out in the ulcer.E se questi vede il luogo della lebbra più profondo del rimanente della carne, e che i peli son diventati bianchi, lo dichiarerà impuro: perocché il male della lebbra è nato sull'ulcera.and when he shal see the place of the leprosie lower then the other flesh, and the heare turned into whitenes, he shal contaminate him: for the plague of leprosie is risen in the boile. 21But if the hair be of the former colour, and the scar somewhat obscure, and be not lower than the flesh that is near it: he shall shut him up seven days. But if the heare be of the old colour, and the scarre somewhat obscure, & be not lower then the next flesh, he shal shut him vp seuē dayes.Quod si pilus coloris est pristini, et cicatrix subobscura, et vicina carne non est humilior, recludet eum septem diebus: 22And if it spread, he shall judge him to have the leprosy:E se il male cresce, lo giudicherà lebbroso:And if it be growne farder, he shal iudge him to haue the leprosie.et si quidem creverit, adjudicabit eum lepræ; 23But if it stay in its place, it is but the scar of an ulcer: and the man shall be clean.Se poi resterà com'era, ella è la cicatrice dell'ulcera, e l'uomo sarà mondo.but if it stay in his place, it is the scarre of a boile, and the man shal be cleane.sin autem steterit in loco suo, ulceris est cicatrix, et homo mundus erit. 24The flesh also and skin that hath been burnt, and after it is healed hath a white or a red scar:Se un uomo si è abbruciato la carne, o la cute, e guarita la scottatura formisi una cicatrice bianca, o rossa,And the flesh and skinne, that fire hath burnt, and being healed hath a white or a reade scarre,Caro autem et cutis, quam ignis exusserit, et sanata albam sive rufam habuerit cicatricem,

25The priest shall view it, and if he see it turned white, and the place thereof is lower than the other skin: he shall declare him unclean, because the evil of leprosy is broken out in the scar.Il sacerdote lo esaminerà: e s'ella è divenuta bianca, e il sito di essa è più profondo del rimanente della cute, lo dichiarerà impuro: perocché è nato sulla cicatrice il mal della lebbra.the priest shal consider it, and loe it is turned into whitenesse, and the place therof is lower then the other skinne: he shal contaminate him, because the plague of leprosie is risen in the scarre.considerabit eam sacerdos: et ecce versa est in alborem, et locus ejus reliqua cute est humilior, contaminabit eum, quia plaga lepræ in cicatrice orta est. 26But if the colour of the hair be not changed, nor the blemish lower than the other flesh, and the appearance of the leprosy be somewhat obscure: he shall shut him up seven days,Ma se il colore de' peli non è cangiato, e la parte piagata non è più bassa del rimanente della carne, e la lebbra, che apparisce è scuretta, lo rinchiuderà per sette giorni,But if the colour of the heare be not changed, nor the blemish lower then the other flesh, and the forme it self of the leprosie be somewhat obscure, he shal shut him vp seuen dais,Quod si pilorum color non fuerit immutatus, nec humilior plaga carne reliqua, et ipsa lepræ species fuerit subobscura, recludet eum septem diebus, 27And on the seventh day he shall view him. If the leprosy be grown farther in the skin, he shall declare him unclean.E il settimo giorno lo esaminerà: se sulla cute sarà cresciuta la lebbra, lo dichiarerà immondo:and the seuente day he shal behold him: if the leptosie be growne farder in the skinne, he shal contaminate him,et die septimo contemplabitur: si creverit in cute lepra, contaminabit eum. 28But if the whiteness stay in its place, and be not very clear, it is the sore of a burning: and therefore he shall be cleansed, because it is only the scar of a burning.Se il color bianco non si sarà inoltrato, e non sarà così chiaro, ella è la piaga di scottatura; e perciò quegli sarà dichiarato mondo, perché ella è cicatrice d'abbruciamento.but if the whitnes stay in his place, not very cleare, it is the plague of a burning, and therfore he shal be cleansed, because it is the scarre of a burning.

29If the leprosy break out in the head or the beard of a man or woman, the priest shall see them,L'uomo, o la donna, nel capo di cui, ovvero nella barba spunti la lebbra, li visiterà il sacerdote:Man, or woman, in whose head or beard the leprosie riseth, the priest shal see them.Vir, sive mulier, in cujus capite vel barba germinaverit lepra, videbit eos sacerdos. 30And if the place be lower than the other flesh, and the hair yellow, and thinner than usual: he shall declare them unclean, because it is the leprosy of the head and the beard;E se il sito sarà più basso del resto della carne, e il capello gialliccio, e più fino del solito, li dirà impuri; perché questa è la lebbra della testa, ovvero della barba.and if the place be lower then the other flesh, and the heare yelow, and thinner then it was wont; he shal contaminate them, because it is the leprosie of the heade and the beard. 31But if he perceive the place of the spot is equal with the flesh that is near it, and the hair black: he shall shut him up seven days,Che se vedrà essere il luogo della macchia pari alla carne vicina, e nero il capello, lo rinchiuderà per sette giorni,But if he perceiue the place of the spotte equal with the flesh neere vnto it, and the heare blacke: he shal shut him vp seuen daies,Sin autem viderit locum maculæ æqualem vicinæ carni, et capillum nigrum: recludet eum septem diebus, 32And on the seventh day he shall look upon it. If the spot be not grown, and the hair keep its colour, and the place of the blemish be even with the other flesh:E il settimo giorno lo visiterà. Se non sarà dilatata la sua macchia, e il capello avrà il suo color naturale, e il sito del male è pari al rimanente della carne, and in the seuenth day he shal looke vpon it. If the spotte be nor growne, and the heare be of his owne colour, and the place of the plague euen with the other flesh:et die septimo intuebitur. Si non creverit macula, et capillus sui coloris est, et locus plagæ carni reliquæ æqualis: 33The man shall be shaven all but the place of the spot: and he shall be shut up other seven days.Colui si raderà per tutto fuori del luogo della macchia, e sarà rinchiuso per sette altri giorni.the man shal be shauen sauing the place of the spotte, and shal be shut vp orther seuen daies.radetur homo absque loco maculæ, et includetur septem diebus aliis.

34If on the seventh day the evil seem to have stayed in its place, and not lower than the other flesh, he shall cleanse him: and his clothes being washed he shall be clean. If the seuenth day the plague seeme to haue staid in his place, & not lower then the other flesh, he shal cleanse him, and his clothes being washed he shal be cleane.Si die septimo visa fuerit stetisse plaga in loco suo, nec humilior carne reliqua, mundabit eum: lotisque vestibus suis, mundus erit. 35But if after his cleansing the spot spread again in the skin:Ma se dopo ch'ei fu giudicato puro, la macchia si dilata ancora per la cute,But if after his clensing the spotte be growne againe in the skinne,Sin autem post emundationem rursus creverit macula in cute, 36He shall seek no more whether the hair be turned yellow, because he is evidently unclean.Non baderà più, se il pelo sia diventato gialliccio; perocché quegli è evidentemente immondo.he shal no more seeke whether the heare be changed into a yelow colour, because he is euidently vncleane.non quæret amplius utrum capillus in flavum colorem sit immutatus, quia aperte immundus est. 37But if the spot be stayed, and the hair be black, let him know that the man is healed: and let him confidently pronounce him clean. Moreouer if the spotte be staid, & the heare be blacke, let him know that the man is healed, and let him boldly pronounce him cleane. 38If a whiteness appear in the skin of a man or a woman,L'uomo, e la donna, sulla pelle di cui comparisce del candore,Man, or woman, in whose skinne appeareth whitenesse,Vir, sive mulier, in cujus cute candor apparuerit, 39The priest shall view them. If he find that a darkish whiteness shineth in the skin, let him know that it is not the leprosy, but a white blemish, and that the man is clean. If he find that whitnesse somewhat obscure shineth in the skinne, let him know that it is not the leprosie, but a spotte of white colour, and that the man is cleane.intuebitur eos sacerdos.

40The man whose hair falleth off from his head, he is bald and clean:L'uomo a cui cascano i capelli del capo, sarà calvo, ma mondo:The man whose heare falleth of from his head, is bald and cleane:Vir, de cujus capite capilli fluunt, calvus et mundus est: 41And if the hair fall from his forehead, he is bald before and clean.E se i capelli gli cascano dalla fronte, egli è calvo in parte, ma mondo:and if the heare fal from his forehead, he is bald before and cleane.et si a fronte ceciderint pili, recalvaster et mundus est. 42But if in the bald head or in the bald forehead there be risen a white or reddish colour:Ma se a costui, che è calvo in tutto, o in parte, comparisce un color bianco, o rosso,But if in the baldnesse or in the baldnesse before there be risen a white or reddish colour,Sin autem in calvitio sive in recalvatione albus vel rufus color fuerit exortus, 43And the priest perceive this, he shall condemn him undoubtedly of leprosy which is risen in the bald part.Il sacerdote, che lo avrà veduto, lo condannerà di non dubbia lebbra nata nella calvizie.and the priest perceiue this, he shal condemne him vndoubtedly of leprosie, which is risen in the baldnesse.et hoc sacerdos viderit, condemnabit eum haud dubiæ lepræ, quæ orta est in calvitio. 44Now whosoever shall be defiled with the leprosy, and is separated by the judgment of the priest:Chiunque pertanto sarà infetto di lebbra, e separato per giudizio del sacerdote,Whosoeuer therfote shal be defiled with leprosie & is separated at the arbitrement of the priest,Quicumque ergo maculatus fuerit lepra, et separatus est ad arbitrium sacerdotis, 45Shall have his clothes hanging loose, his head bare, his mouth covered with a cloth: and he shall cry out that he is defiled and unclean.Avrà scucite le vesti, il capo ignudo, il volto coperto colla veste, e griderà se essere contaminato, e impuro.shal haue his clothes hanging loose, his head bare, his mouth couered with a cloth, he shal crie him self polluted and vncleane.habebit vestimenta dissuta, caput nudum, os veste contectum, contaminatum ac sordidum se clamabit. 46All the time that he is a leper and unclean he shall dwell alone without the camp. Al the time that he is a lepre & vncleane, he shal dwel alone without the campe. 47A woollen or linen garment that shall have the leprosySe una veste di lana, o di lino sarà infetta di lebbraA wollen or linnen garment, that shal haue the leprosieVestis lanea sive linea, quæ lepram habuerit, 48In the warp, and the woof: or skin, or whatsoever is made of a skin:Nell'ordito, o nel ripieno, ovvero una pelliccia, o qualunque altra cosa fatta di pelle,in the warpe, and the woufc, or els a skinne, or whatsoeuer is made of a skinne,in stamine atque subtegmine, aut certe pellis, vel quidquid ex pelle confectum est,

49If it be infected with a white or red spot, it shall be accounted the leprosy, and shall be shewn to the priest.Se vi sarà una macchia bianca, o rossiccia, si crederà infezione di lebbra, e farassi vedere al sacerdote,if it be a white or reddish spott, it shal be reputed infected with leprosie, and shal be shewed to the priest.si alba vel rufa macula fuerit infecta, lepra reputabitur, ostendeturque sacerdoti: 50And he shall look upon it and shall shut it up seven days.E questi esaminatala la rinchiuderà per sette giorni:Who hauing considered it shal shut it vp seuen daies:qui consideratam recludet septem diebus: 51And on the seventh day when he looketh on it again, if he find that it is grown, it is a fixed leprosy. He shall judge the garment unclean, and every thing wherein it shall be found.E il settimo giorno visitandola di bel nuovo, se troverà, che sia cresciuta la macchia, ella è lebbra pertinace: giudicherà immonda la veste, e qualunque cosa, sopra di cui si trovi tal macchia:and the seuenth day againe beholding it, if he find that it is growne, it is a leprosie that continueth: he shal iudge the garment polluted, and euerie thing wherin it shal be found,et die septimo rursus aspiciens, si deprehenderit crevisse, lepra perseverans est: pollutum judicabit vestimentum, et omne in quo fuerit inventa: 52And therefore it shall be burnt with fire.E perciò si darà alle fiamme.and therfore it shal be burnt with fire.et idcirco comburetur flammis. 53But if he see that it is not grown,Ma se vedrà che non sia cresciuta la macchia,But if he see that it is not growne,Quod si eam viderit non crevisse, 54He shall give orders, and they shall wash that part wherein the leprosy is: and he shall shut it up other seven days.Darà ordine, che si lavi la cosa, in cui apparisce lebbra, e la rinchiuderà per sette altri giorni.he shal command, and they shal wash that, wherin the leprosie is, and he shal shut it vp other seuen daies.præcipiet, et lavabunt id in quo lepra est, recludetque illud septem diebus aliis. 55And when he shall see that the former colour is not returned, nor yet the leprosy spread, he shall judge it unclean: and shall burn it with fire, for the leprosy has taken hold of the outside of the garment, or through the whole.E quando vedrà non essere ritornata alla vista, quale era prima, benché la lebbra non sia cresciuta, la giudicherà immonda, e la darà alle fiamme; perocché si è sparsa sulla superficie, o per tutto il corpo della veste la lebbra. And when he shal see that the old shape is not returned, neither yet that the leprosie is growen furder, he shal iudge it vncleane, and burne it with fire, for that the leprosie is spred in the outside of the garment or through the whole.

56But if the place of the leprosy be somewhat dark, after the garment is washed, he shall tear it off, and divide it from that which is sound. But if the place of the leprosie be somewhat obscure, after that the garment is washed, he shal breake it of, and diuide it from that which is sounde. 57And if after this there appear in those places that before were without spot, a flying and wandering leprosy: it must be burnt with fire.Che se dopo questo nelle parti, che prima erano senza macchia, comparirà una lebbra vaga e volante, dee darsi alle fiamme:And if besides in those places, that before were without spotte there appeare a flying and wandring leprosie: it must be burnt with fire:Quod si ultra apparuerit in his locis, quæ prius immaculata erant, lepra volatilis et vaga, debet igne comburi. 58If it cease, he shall wash with water the parts that are pure, the second time: and they shall be clean.Se (la macchia) sen va, laverà per la seconda volta con acqua quello che è puro, e sarà mondato.if it be ceassed, he shal wash with water the partes, that be pure, the second time, & they shal be cleane. 59This is the law touching the leprosy of any woollen or linen garment, either in the warp or woof, or any thing of skins: how it ought to be cleaned, or pronounced unclean. This is the law of the leprosie of a wollen and linnen garment, of the warpe and the woufe, and of al stuffe of skinnes, how it ought to be clensed, or contaminated.
