For they shall eat them secretly for the want of all things, in the siege and distress, wherewith thy enemy shall oppress thee within thy gates.E del sordido involto, che uscì dal suo ventre, e del bambino nato in quel punto stesso: imperocché li mangeran di nascosto per la penuria di ogni bene nelle strettezze, e nella desolazione, a cui ti ridurrà il tuo nimico dentro le tue città.and the filthines of the after birthes, that come forth from the middes of her thighes, and vpon the children that are borne the same howre. for they shal eate them secretely because of the penurie of al thinges, in the siege and vastation, wherwith thine enemie shal oppresse thee within thy gates.et illuvie secundarum, quæ egrediuntur de medio feminum ejus, et super liberis qui eadem hora nati sunt. Our Lord thy God:Nisi custodieris et feceris omnia verba legis hujus, quæ scripta sunt in hoc volumine, et timueris nomen ejus gloriosum et terribile, hoc est, Dominum Deum tuum: 59The Lord shall increase thy plagues, and the plagues of thy seed, plagues great and lasting, infirmities grievous and perpetual.Il Signore moltiplicherà i flagelli per te, flagelli per la tua discendenza, flagelli grandi e permanenti, malori orrendi e perpetui, our Lord shal increase thy plagues, and the plagues of thy seede, greate plagues and continuing, sore infirmities and perpetual.augebit Dominus plagas tuas, et plagas seminis tui, plagas magnas et perseverantes, infirmitates pessimas et perpetuas:

60And he shall bring back on thee all the afflictions of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of, and they shall stick fast to thee.E sopra di te volgerà tutte le tribolazioni dell'Egitto, temute da te, e a te si attaccheranno.and he shal turne vpon thee al the afflictions of Aegypt, which thou didst feare, and they shal cleaue to thee.et convertet in te omnes afflictiones Ægypti, quas timuisti, et adhærebunt tibi. 61Moreover the Lord will bring upon thee all the diseases, and plagues, that are not written in the volume of this law till he consume thee:Farà ancora di più il Signore piover sopra di te i malori tutti, e le piaghe che in questo libro della legge non sono scritte, fino a tanto che ti abbia distrutto:Moreouer also al the diseases, and plagues, that be not written in the volume of this law, our Lord wil bring vpon thee, til he consume thee:Insuper et universos languores, et plagas, quæ non sunt scriptæ in volumine legis hujus, inducet Dominus super te, donec te conterat: 62And you shall remain few in number, who before were as the stars of heaven for multitude, because thou heardst not the voice of the Lord thy God.E resterete in piccol numero voi che eravate pella moltitudine come le stelle del cielo; perché tu non ascoltasti la voce del Signore Dio tuo.and you shal remaine few in number, which before was as the starres of heauen for multitude, because thou heardst not the voice of our Lord thy God.et remanebitis pauci numero, qui prius eratis sicut astra cæli præ multitudine, quoniam non audisti vocem Domini Dei tui. 63And as the Lord rejoiced upon you before doing good to you, and multiplying you: so he shall rejoice destroying and bringing you to nought, so that you shall be taken away from the land which thou shalt go in to possess.E siccome per lo passato il Signore prendea piacere a farvi del bene, e ad ingrandirvi così prenderà piacere a sperdervi e sterminarvi, affin di levarvi da quella terra, della quale entrerete ora al possesso. And as before our Lord reioyced vpon you, doing good to you, and multiplying you: so he shal reioyse destroying and subuerting you, so that you may be taken away from the Land, which thou shalt enter to possesse. 64The Lord shall scatter thee among all people, from the farthest parts of the earth to the ends thereof: and there thou shalt serve strange gods, which both thou art ignorant of and thy fathers, wood and stone. Our Lord shal disperse thee into al peoples, from the farthest partes of the earth to the endes therof: and there thou shalt serue strange goddes, which thou art ignorant of and thy fathers, woode and stone.

65Neither shalt thou be quiet, even in those nations, nor shall there be any rest for the sole of thy foot. For the Lord will give thee a fearful heart, and languishing eyes, and a soul consumed with pensiveness:Ma neppure tra quelle genti avrai posa né vi starai con piè fermo: perocché il Signore darà a te un cuor pauroso, e occhi smarriti, e anima consumata dalla tristezza:In those nations also thou shalt not be quiet, neither shal there be resting for the steppe of thy foote. For our Lord wil geue thee a feareful hart, and daseling eies, and a soule consumed with pensifenes:In gentibus quoque illis non quiesces, neque erit requies vestigio pedis tui. Dabit enim tibi Dominus ibi cor pavidum, et deficientes oculos, et animam consumptam mœrore: 66And thy life shall be as it were hanging before thee. Thou shalt fear night and day, neither shalt thou trust thy life.E sarà la tua vita quasi pendente dinanzi a te. Notte e giorno sarai in timore, e non crederai alla tua vita.and thy life shal be as it were hanging before thee. Thou shalt feare night and day, and thou shalt not trust in thy life.et erit vita tua quasi pendens ante te. 67In the morning thou shalt say: Who will grant me evening? and at evening: Who will grant me morning? for the fearfulness of thy heart, wherewith thou shalt be terrified, and for those things which thou shalt see with thy eyes. In the morning thou shalt say: Who wil graunt me euening? and at euening: Who wil grant me morning? for the fearefulnes of thy hart, wherwith thou shalt be terrified, and for those thinges, which thou shalt see with thine eies. 68The Lord shall bring thee again with ships into Egypt, by the way whereof he said to thee that thou shouldst see it no more. There shalt thou be set to sale to thy enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you. Our Lord shal bring thee againe with shippes into Aegypt by the way, wherof he said to thee that thou shouldest see it no more. There shalt thou be sould to thine enemies for bondmen and bondweomen, and no man shal bye you.
