The Anglo-Catholics wish to be Anglican-Catholics without the Pope, and they remain Protestants as well.
All these doctrines, whether in agreement or in conflict, should not be understood in an absolute sense; there are nuances, overlaps, and infiltrations not only between the two groups indicated, but also with the doctrines of the "Low Church" and even the "Broad Church."
